Former Witchschool Assistant Dean of Mentors
Rev. RoxAnna "Serenity" Burkhart served with distinction as the much appreciated Assistant Dean of Mentors at Witchschool.com. As such she was one of the people directly responsible for Correllian online training programs through the school.
The Rev. RoxAnna Serenity has this to say about herself:
”Like many Pagans, I was raised in a Christian household. I had questions, many of them, and got few answers that I felt were real or had any weight. My teen years were spent in searching out answers, and I went to many churches and talked with many ministers/priests/rabbis. There was always something missing.
"Then...I picked up a book. And new worlds and thoughts opened up to me. On Ostara, 1974, I dedicated myself to the Goddess and God combined, knowing at that time that what was missing was balance in my life.
"I sought out teachers of many different things, learning as much as I could from each. I was never formally initiated into any Tradition, as I never found one that I felt really comfortable with, until I started Witchschool, and learned the Correllian Philosophy. In April, 2002, I was initiated into the Correllian Nativist Church.
"Between Ostara 1974, and the time I found WS, I raised two wonderful boys into manhood. I tried to teach them to think for themselves, but raised them in the Christian faith. We discussed things, and learned to look at things from a different perspective.
"I taught them to be open-minded about all faiths, accepting that what one person believed was what was good for that person, but that all didn't have to believe the same. I taught them that they were responsible for their actions and inactions.

Lustration of the Living for Year 5 Aquarius, beneath the crossed swords of the Paladins.
"The oldest is now a business owner, raising his own children as Pagans. He is a member of Witchschool, working on his Clergy requirements now, and is Clergy with the Eclectic Wiccans, where he is leader of a Coven. The youngest is in the Navy, raising his own children as Christians, with a Pagan bent. I am handfasted to another Clergy member of the Correllian Tradition, and together we are raising our wonderful furbabies, Precious and Lily.

"As for my accomplishments, I started teaching Paganism in chat rooms on MSN, and manage, or help manage, 8 different MSN communities with over 20,000 members total. I do this with my good friend, spiritual sister, and one of many I have learned from, Celeste Heldstab.
"I work with dedicated Pagans, of many different paths, to help others find their own spirituality. I have arranged guest speakers for these chats, with subjects ranging from Dianic Wicca to Hermeticism to Christianity. On Samhain 2002, I was Croned, and in 2005, was named an Elder of my State.

"I have been a mentor with Witchschool since October 2002, and have held weekly chats with my students, bringing in those same guest speakers, in order to teach tolerance and acceptance, as well as teaching the Correllian subject matter.
"In 2004, I was made Asst. Dean of Mentors, and have held that position to this day. It has been my honor to meet Rev. Don and many others, and to assist at the Fall Lustration in 2005. I have felt honored to learn this Tradition, and to meet so many others. It is my hope to continue with my learning and teaching with this wonderful new family I have found."
Sadly Rev. RoxAnna was injured in a Tornado which forced her retirement as Assistant Dean. Rev. RoxAnna is still recovering from this tragic event. However she remains a deeply committed Priestess within the Correllian Tradition.
Rev. RoxAnna is much loved by all of her students and fellow Mentors, and by the whole of the Correllian Tradition.
