Not only will this allow you to get an immediate update on your bid, you will also get an immediate notice if outbid.

On October 1st. we are starting with 30 auctions and will continue to add more as the days progress. Each auction will be for a 10 day duration and any items not bid on during the first pass will be relisted once. Winning bids will be invoiced, but if you are bidding on other items combined mailing and payment can be made when all are concluded.
The eBay platform also allows you to watch a listing and be notified when it is near the end and you can bookmark the auction page (link above) to check back daily for new additions.
