First Priesthood New Year’s Address
Good Morning to our Global Correllian Family!
This whole year has been a prime example of the ebbs and flows of life. The highs and lows that occur naturally as we move through this life. This year has also revealed to us our many karmic attachments and has provided Deity as well as our Ancestors and Spirit Guides the opportunity to test our faith and our character. The Ancestors have told us for several years that much change was on the horizon and that we could not comprehend their plan for us. The scattering of Correllian teachings is part of this plan and indeed part of the natural growth of a global spiritual movement.
As we move forward into the new year, we are proud to acknowledge that multiple institutions and organizations now accept Witchschool transcripts and Correllian Clergy certifications. The acceptance of these organizations allows Correllians a greater opportunity to utilize their skills to diversify or specialize their ministerial training, as well as open doors to communities that will enhance their ministry. As a result of this unexpected birth we are happy to announce that there will be a process to request Official Witchschool transcripts be sent directly to these institutions. These Official Transcripts will demonstrate your commitment to and the depth of your spiritual education.
Witchschool by Correllian Educational Ministries is the seminary of our Tradition and we are working hard this year to bring needed enhancements to your experience, such as a full website rebuild and new live video classes. As the new caretakers of this Seminary, we are determined to rebuild, modernize, update, and upgrade the infrastructures from previous administrations. Negotiations with our programmers is already in progress and we will be giving exciting sneak peaks at our new website in the coming months.
A fairly new project that we are looking forward to growing, is our Correllian Clergy Study Abroad Program. This program will provide opportunities for International Clergy to study in the USA as well as future opportunities for our North American Clergy to study at our international Temples. Programs like this are funded by the support and generosity of our membership and we appreciate all contributions to the Church. You’ll find that our website is now set up for monthly and yearly donations. Also on our website you will find our Candid Transparency Seal. We are proud to say that we have submitted all the necessary information to earn a Platinum seal with Candid, which is the highest level of organizational transparency recognized by their organization. As a church we are devoted to being financially and morally transparent with our membership.
Lastly, we would like to thank our members for your support and love and can’t wait to see our Tradition grow and flourish as we move into the new year. Year 2024 is an “Eight” year. Numerologically speaking, the number 8 represents balance between the spiritual and materialistic world and brings promises of new business and relationships. For us as Correllians, we are deeply concerned with the nature of divinity and direct our magic on that level. Now is the time to account for all of the business, relationships and success that you want to have this year and lay it out upon your altar of the Ancestors to receive their ongoing blessings and support. We are working towards deepening the worlds understanding of Correllianism and the unity and sharing between Pagan and Magickal practices which the Correllian Tradition has ever been an advocate for. Each of our members plays an integral role in our organizations success and health. As such, we encourage our members to participate in the magic that 2024 will offer and invite you to share your successes this year with us just as we will share with you. This way all of us will be able to recognize the mark we as Correllians will leave upon our planet, and the way we affect each other’s lives. The year 2023 was wrought with many unexpected changes and upheavals. We acknowledge that though a painful birth, the occurrences of 2023 were ultimately for our highest good. We pledge to learn and grow from these experiences, even as we leave them behind us in the old year, where they belong. We move forward with lightness and hope into 2024 knowing that nothing happens without the permission of the Higher Self.
