Rt. Rev. Raene Packery

Born under a blazing Leo Sun, with a soulful Cancer Moon and an eccentric Aquarius Rising, I walk the path of a Priestess of Sekhmet—fiercely passionate about my spiritual path and devoted. I have been Pagan since the age of 17, and for the past 22 years or so, I have led rituals and run my own coven, cultivating a sacred space for learning, healing, and community, through ceremony and connection. Throughout my journey, I have had the pleasure of working with Pagan Elders and leaders, gaining invaluable experience and insights that have shaped my path.
I have been a clergy member of the Correllian Nativist Tradition since the early 2000s, and my journey within the Tradition has been deeply fulfilling. Over the years, I have taken on many roles, including Arch Priestess of Africa, Master of Records for Africa, Registrar of CNTSA, and Witchschool Assistant Dean of Mentors for Africa. I also serve as the Temple Head of Clan of Kheper Temple and lead two Correllian Orders—The Order of Tcheft and the Order of the Water Witch. Now in the Year 25 Aq. I am honored to serve as First Elder. Each of these roles has allowed me to grow and heal in varying ways to guide others, share wisdom, and nurture the growth of our Tradition in Africa and beyond.

In 2009, I took an important step in ensuring our Tradition’s presence in South Africa by officially registering the Correllian Nativist Tradition South Africa (CNTSA) as a Religious Organization with the Department of Home Affairs. Then, in 2013, The Clan of Kheper Temple had the honour of hosting the Lustration of the Ancestors in Cape Town, after which Lord Don spent a couple of weeks visiting— the whole experience remains a fond memory. More recently, in 2023, I was afforded the life-changing opportunity to attend the Parliament of the World’s Religions in Chicago, where I engaged with spiritual leaders from diverse paths, further expanding my perspective and deepening my commitment to interfaith dialogue. Meeting fellow clergy in person—those I had connected with online for years—was an experience I will always cherish.

Though I don’t naturally seek the spotlight, as a Pagan religious leader, I recognize the importance of educating others about Wicca and Pagan spirituality—especially in a place where misconceptions about witchcraft still spark fear. My mission has always been to foster understanding, dispel myths, and create space for open, respectful dialogue. To that end, I have participated in radio interviews, been featured in local newspapers, and appeared on television to raise awareness, challenge misconceptions, and promote acceptance of alternative spiritual paths.
Beyond my work within the Tradition, I also maintain a part-time holistic healing practice. I offer Reiki, crystal healing, crystal massage, and Access Bars® to help others achieve balance and well-being in their lives. My connection to nature and animals is also an essential part of who I am.

As a registered Civil Union Marriage Officer, I have the privilege of officiating meaningful and inclusive ceremonies, honouring love in all its forms, ensuring that all couples receive the respect, recognition, and celebration they deserve.
Above all, I am a wife and mother of three, blessed with a loving family that supports me in my spiritual work. Walking this path is an honour, and I remain dedicated to guiding, teaching, and healing those who seek spiritual growth—while continuing to grow, heal, and learn myself.
