Rev. Antonio Huerta, HP

Rev. Antonio Huerta HP, is the Temple Head of Meadowhawk Temple, located in Peoria, Illinois. He is a member of The Correllian Order of Web Weavers, The Order of the Mousai, and he serves as the head of the Order of Recovering Correllians.

​​He is a founding member of The Keepers of the Great Grove, a Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans chapter, which offers public sabbat celebrations for his local community. He also has had the great pleasure of providing services as legal wedding officiant, specializing in pagan handfastings and non-denominational marriage ceremonies.

​He resides with his loving wife Vicki, their two polydactyl “Hemingway” cats, Saga and Fable, and their “mostly” Golden Retriever (and “mostly” well-mannered dog), Stevie. They are proud parents to eight children, and happy “Abuelo and Nini” to thirteen grandchildren.

​Rev. Antonio was born in March of 1974. He is the eldest son of Ramon Huerta of Peoria, Illinois and Celeste (Werhle) of Yuma, Arizona. He has one full-blood brother, a half-brother and a half-sister also born from his mother, and six adopted brothers and sisters through his father’s remarriage to his step-mom, Patricia (Moffatt).

​A U.S. Navy veteran, he proudly served aboard the USS Coronado AGF-11 (now decommissioned), NAVSTA Everett, and PRT Sharana in the Paktika Province of Afghanistan.
 
At the time of this writing, he has enjoyed 7 years of sobriety and is dedicated to helping others who seek recovery from chemical and/or process addictions. He organized a recovery group known as Amethyst Circle and he chairs monthly gatherings in conjunction with the Order of Recovering Correllians and his local Universalist Unitarian Church.

Rev. Antonio began his Correllian studies in 13 Aq. (2013 CE) online via WitchSchool, He successfully attained First Degree in 20Aq. (2020 CE), Second Degree in 22 Aq. (2022 CE), and he entered the High Priesthood upon completion of his Third Degree in 24 Aq. (2024 CE). 

​He is a practitioner of the healing and energy medicine rites of the Munay-Ki, as presented by Dr. Alberto Villoldo and Marcela Lobos of the Four Winds Society.
 
In addition, he serves the Correllian Press Team as Outreach Secretary.
