About himself Rev. Kent writes:

"I was born in 1564 Pisces in Blytheville, AR. and was raised in the Southern Bible Belt but never quite fit in with the Christian majority.  I was always one who would frustrate my Church teachers and Elders by not just being satisfied with being told how to believe. I knew from an early age that I was different and always had difficulty explaining and living with my ability to 'see ahead' and communicate with my "imaginary friends".  My grandmother is very attuned to Deity and psychic energies and this was passed to her eldest child, my mother, who in turn passed a portion to me and I to my eldest.  I attribute this to our Native American heritage.

"I graduated from High School and immediately entered college.  After earning my mechanical engineering degree I entered the field of law enforcement.  Several years later I returned to college and earned my degree in biology (why, I'll never know).  I retired from public service in 2 Aquarius after serving as a training officer for the local sheriff's department and local office of Homeland Security.
"I was introduced to Wicca and Paganism in 1595 Pisces and my search for knowledge led me to Witchschool seven years later.  My wife and son soon joined me in these studies which have become part of our daily 'spiritual'  reflections.  I was drawn to the Nativist Tradition and felt that it was a perfect fit for my beliefs.  After completing my First Degree Studies I was accepted as Clergy and First Degree Mentor.  Before this time I was running blindly trying to filter the good instruction and information from the damaging.

"I am very active in attempting to relieve the misconceptions many people have about the Pagan community.  My geographical area has a diverse Pagan population, but most are still too afraid to peek out of the closet.  At one point during my near two decade law enforcement career I was isolated from my comrades simply because I intelligently discussed why Wicca is not the gateway to Satanism with one of the State's Police Academy instructors.  This is what our 'protectors' are being taught."
