This page is based upon Lady Aine's interview in the
"Faces of the Correllian" column in the Correllian Herald
magazine. The "Faces of the Correllian" is an ongoing
column written by Rev. Wolf Ciara and Rev. Nehal Shah.

This week we are talking with Lady Aine Pauline Massie, who is from USA . She has been kind enough to take some time for us and let us interview her. This is both a personal interview and also information about her Correllian Temple in USA .

Her name is Aine Pauline Massie. She doesn't use a magical name anymore, because she believes that magical names don't truly serve us in the world in which we live. She says that if we want to be taken seriously we must not seem as if we are hiding (and sometimes the names end up being so long and silly as to just not really be useable).

She does has a sacred name, but its only used in private ceremony with deity and the ancestors. Aine is currently living in Murphy , NC , USA .

Her estranged husband and her 4 younger children are all Wiccan as well. Her 2 oldest boys are technically Christian (though her oldest is going through the doubts faze and is slowly seeing that there is a lot more to Deity then what the church says. He is starting to explore).

Aine is a 3rd Degree member of the Inner Court . She found the tradition way back before WitchSchool, back in 1999.

She has loved this tradition since first finding it, this is her home, her family, and her family's future. At the moment, this is the only Wiccan group she belongs to. She is the Temple Head of the Crystalline Star Temple and advisor to Northern Lakes Proto-Temple. She is also working on creating a preschool / daycare that includes both oral language and ASL sign language (combined) in the school. It will be a school for children of all hearing levels.

She says she is both solitary Wiccan and belong to a real time Temple that she is the Temple Head for. She works on her own but she also works in her Temple . She sees aspects of our faith and craft both as valuable, and needed.

She has an Indigo Panther as a spirit familiar. She also works with the ancestors as her guides for all channeling and oracle work. She has one main spirit guide/ancestor that she works with regularly. They are helpful and want what is best, though they often seem to have fun not being straight forward with their guidance! She has learned so much from them, she is eternally thankful to both them and this tradition/family.

For Aine, Wicca is a way of life just as much as it is a belief system. She says that if we are to truly be Wiccan then we must live it daily, in public and private life, regardless of whether someone is in the closet or not, they should still live by the rede and show honour to the goddess and god in their actions, lives, and heart. Aine is what some refer to as a Green witch but it is not a combining, rather it is a focus of nature within her beliefs.

When asked how she heard about the Correllian Tradition, she said it was actually by accident. She was doing some solitary research on Wicca on-line and stumbled onto some very old web-pages through Telepathic Media. She started reading and liked what she saw.

She decided to contact Lord Don and start taking the lessons. She was assigned to Lady Green Owl and thus, began her studies. By the 3rd lesson, she had realized that this was her spiritual home and knew that this is where the Goddess had wanted her to be.

She sees the Tradition becoming much more than we are even today. Becoming a recognized world religious institution. We have people all over the world, now we need to build our public face for all others to see us as we really are. We are a loving family that reveres the Goddess and God in all their many forms. We will become a main-stream religion in the world's eyes. This is something many of us are working for and truly believe will happen.

As a child, Aine found herself wondering what was really out there. She was raised in a religion that she never felt was where she belonged and was happy with. She knew that there was more to Deity then what she was being taught. Her best friend and she began searching for Deity. He actually introduced her to her first Scott Cunningham book , Earth Power (she still has it too).

That was the first time she actually felt soul satisfied with a spiritual action. She began more heavily studying after she left home (sadly her parents are not open minded).

She studied with a few different groups and people before finding her way to this family of our Tradition. Once here, Aine has never felt the need to continue searching for a home. This is her home and this is her family.

Her patrons are Aine and Lugh of the Celtic Irish. Her family is the Correllian Nativist Tradition. And, her heart and soul have never been more satisfied.
